This really is a delight and it's a completely realised and well-executed action game. I think you've demonstrated a great understanding of how to nail the design, and there's so much on offer here: I thought the added touches of attack patterns, combat multipliers, the boss fight and a time-based scoring system were nice details that elevated the game into feeling complete. Seeing that you've made a few polished action-platformers before, it's really clear that you're honing the craft really well and can't wait to see what you might make with a sustained project. For constructive feedback, the directional control approach works well but a radial approach with the mouse cursor might provide a little more freedom of movement for the player and enemies, and open up the potential of making the projectile patterns more challenging now the player has free movement. Until then, really glad I came across this one and played through to its amusing and cruelly ironic conclusion!
