Thank you so much for asking! I don't mind answering! So when I first started making this game, the original Ashton was going to be a fancy, preppy guy, but I scrapped that idea and went with the Ashton that wears a green coat. So I brought back the preppy Ashton because I figured he would make a good villian even if his anger is very justified because I threw him away literally.

About Ashino, he is actually very ok with being not real, unlike Ashton. Ashino's world before it was changed was perfect to him and he wants it back. He has figured that it got messed up because humans were interfering with it so he is mad at the company who made the game and the one who replaced him with Ashton. His goal is to take over the Bureau, the company that made the game so that they will leave his world alone, but he goes a little crazy and wants to take over all humans. (I don't think he could do it though)

I don't think this is too much of a spoiler but he can end up liking the player but not loving them like Ashton does. If you try to go on his date again and refuse to leave he shows you a bit more of himself. Ashino thinks that the player doesn't care about his friends because they are not real and assumes the player doesn't actually love/like him. He thinks it's impossible for a human to care about something that isn't human. So if the player changes his mind, he starts to like the player.

Ashton on the other hand hates that he isn't real and this has caused him a lot of pain. He was going through a crisis and spiraling into a deep depression when suddenly he meets the player. He learns about them by hacking their computer before the game starts and at first he only sees the player as a prize. He feels like a loser who can only win by cheating so he wanted to "win" the player. But over time he starts to actually love the player and want to be with them somehow. Yes if he loses his beloved player he'll lose touch and probably isolate himself from his friends again, but i imagine he'd still try and find a way to come to the real world. He'd still have the ability to hack but he would not be motivated anymore, he is a yandere after all.

If Ashton ended up in the real world? That's such a big spoiler that even I don't know yet, hehehe♫
