It is a good game but I think the signs have too much clutter for conversing. Some things I think should be added as well.

  • control mapping
  • having the basic movement keys as pictures on the level when you fall (seems that it should be obvious, but I have found it is a good idea to implement these things)
  • have the tutorial be something more like the signs were left behind by someone who fell down before you and left them for you (I been down here for a while, i should probably move on, i figured out you can press "space" to jump) (apparently, by holding space in air we can use our ears to float is useful down here)

So far the game is pretty good an well made. Some name ideas you may like or to inspire

  • Floppy's Trip (ears and they fall down the cave :P)
  • Deep Descent
  • Dangerous Dwelling
  • Cave Game (jk)

Hey, hey!

Thanks for playing! It really is just an EARLY demo rn as we are building mechanics, this level won’t be in the final game 🙃

Most of the crazy sign text was us testing old systems, but we’ve updated those recently and our text engine is a lot more versatile now!

And yes, controller mapping is an obvious one! As I mentioned, it is a VERY early demo rn, and a controller mapping system takes a significant amount of coffee to implement - leaving QOL features to the tail end of development is generally good practice.

Thanks for Reviewing!
