I feel like this discussion doesn't need to exist. You should be worried about what is appropriate now, not later. If context changes so that something that is appropriate now is no longer appropriate, then it should be dealt with at that point, and trying to predict what will remain appropriate is just going to be a herculean task that will only end up wasting time.
