I'm using Firefox on Linux on an ultra-wide (5120x1440). It seems to pop-out to a browser window when clicking play which doesn't really work on my screen. My teammate on windows has it correctly embedded and there it runs properly. I have a bit of a unique setup sorry for that!
Oh, not sure how to make a fix for that case. We'll build game for linux for post-jam version after the voting, now we lost last changes with card mechanics, got only version without them in the repo, it will take some time to restore. Sorry for the inconvenience!
