I really enjoyed the initial cutscene! As for the gameplay, I have a couple of points:

  1. The game feels too easy for too long. Increasing the difficulty more quickly would encourage players to engage more. Right now, the risk is that they might get bored and quit before reaching the harder parts (which, as it stands, feel like they don’t even exist).
  2. The projectiles are great! I love the feel of them, and the way they push the monsters back is a nice touch. The issue, though, is that it's too easy to kill a lot of monsters with just one projectile. Also, when monsters die, they still keep a small red part of their life bar, which can be a bit confusing.

hey man thanks for the feedback. This was my first official game jam submission after learning godot for 5 months so I was a little ambitious. I appreciate the pointers and criticisms. Yeah the enemy hp bars are a little weird but I had to prioritise other aspects. Also the game does get harder. Try reaching a score of 2500 - 3000k. There's too many enemies at that point. If I had more time, I would've polished a lot of stuff, added more guns and enemies and power ups etc. Thanks again for the feedback.

Yes for sure, I can imagine that ! It happened the same to me!

Yeah man it's tough. Ah well you live and you learn. I'll make sure to play your game when I get home.

Wow thank you! That would be great! I would really appreciate!
