After a year, probably not, but why take it down? You can leave it up in the mean time so it gets more popular.

in hindsight it probably wasnt the best idea to take it down . I lost the window to have it tested out by my family on the web as well as the occasional wanderer . Oh well Ill put that on the whiteboard "do not remove, just update". But yea ill get it back up in a year and its gonna look great! 

I wonder what your definition of spamming is.

If you redo your page once I would like to have a discussion with anyone that calls that spamming.

Now, if you do that every week or for every update, that would be something different.

But game making is basically art and arists are known to wipe out their canvas from time to time. Depending on how you deleted your project, you might even be able to ask support to restore it. But if there was nothing on it (reviews, purchases and so on), it might be simpler to redo the work in progress page at some point.
