Why is the dialog so weak?

Such a shame lol a demon slayer game would be cool but for me personally, this is unplayable (not to knock on other peoples opinions if they like it, tho).
"You are absolutely <insert adjective>, random girl. Thank you." After every single request is such a meme at this point. I get secondhand embarrassment at the sheer laziness of the writing.
