For a first project this is actually pretty good. It's just a bit frustrating and hard. A tip to make the game better is to make it a bit clearer to the player what can and can't kill him. Right now if I collect a coin I sometimes die and when I hit sertain spikes I die or I don't. This can make the game a bit confusing and frustrating.
