A few months ago, i downloaded the demo version. I tried to open it, then a text apears: "Windows SmartSrceen prevented an unrecognized app to open. I have 1 and 1 question only. WHYYYYY?!?!?!?!
cuz I dont have a developer key. I would need to I guess ālicenseā the software, but I donāt have the money for it so windows just thinks its suspicious. If you upload a game via steam, steam creates that key automatically, but it also costs 100$ to upload one game.
2 things: one, i downloaded Steam half a year ago, cuz i wanted to play Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, but it costed me money, and iĀ“m only 11 years old, so i deleted it. And 2, IĀ“m from Chile, 100$ ĀØpesosĀØ is very little here.
I dont know much more about it other than what I already mentioned. I just called it that, I donāt know the exact term. maybe it was ācode signingā Iām not sure. I donāt have much knowledge about software other from making this game
