I am not the developer, but I am a Patreon creator. It's possible the developer paused billing for a month, in which case no new subs are allowed during the pause.
I'm a Patreon member and he did pause billing for one month, but it started again. He also hasn't posted anything since the end of September and hasn't sent a video he was meant to. Not sure what's going on with him, but I hope he's okay :(
