You got load of ideas, and tried a load of things. This interesting, now you can build upon that, why not adding a death mecanic: when you fall you get last checkpoint. Then you can play this. The game is really hard really fast. Maybe you could make the tutorial a bit easier for new commer :D Keep it up, that's a great start.
