I had a look and if you if you do the following:
Tuesday Morning on Day 113 check on her when she's sneaking a banana upstairs.
Thursday Morning on Day 115 same again with the banana.
Saturday Morning on Day 117 again with the banana and you should now be able to proceed with the event.

Unfortunately the door remains locked. I skipped through an extra week to make sure, remains locked each time. Tried it on the PC version too using the save, same issue. I'll just wait for the next patreon release and try it again. It wouldn't be a huge issue but having the event repeat endlessly every time you go downstairs is annoying as hell.

I went ahead and saved before you can open the door (Save 1-1) and just after (1-2). Give these a try for me and let me know if it helps. In the meantime I'll have a look into the issue further.

Hiya! I am also loving the game but I am having the same issue persist. I have progressed past recruiting lyriel and cannot seem to get the eager student chp. 4 mission to progress.
