That and I tried to apply Male x Male to see if it fixes it... it was not happy, it froze on the Virgil scene and the voiceovers were not voiceover-ing, I missed hearing Violet T_T.
Please try to reset your settings by clicking 'Default' at the bottom of the settings screen and then also enable 'Skip animations'. Overall, it sounds like you encountered some serious issues never reported before, so something weird is happening. Do you have an old system? Like Windows 7 or older?
