Hey, I finally found out what was going on. Windows now has an option under "properties" for .exe files which blocks them from being used (it said something like: this file was generated in another computer, so it is blocked). I had never seen it before, that is why I did not see it then. I unclicked it, ran the file, and it worked perfectly. I wish Microsoft would let me know before making these changes.
