We thought about DAZ, but no, we are not going on that route.
The game is going to switch to a 2D Hand drawn style! I know the DAZ market is flooded, this is one of the reasons we did not want to use it. It's a big step to transfer a game that is made in 3D to 2D, but we want to try it! I will give my best to pick up the pen and make great art!

Don't know much about 2D, but from what I observe it seems to take more effort to do especially if there are animations. Some developers augment with AI, but that introduces a whole set of other problems...
I haven't come across a 2D adult game that carries the dark cyberpunk atmosphere well, many of the Sci-fi ones made with Koikatsu look too bright and chirpy.

The style is not yet chosen, will let the community know when have a solid choice.
Yes it really does take effort, to sketch the characters, background. Color them, and after render them so they are just not a blank color palette.
Yes, I know some Devs who use AI to make 2D arts. I was thinking about it, but just could not go on with it. I want something I create.
The Cyberpunk theme will be a challenge, but will give my best to make it look good. Planning to draw it stand alone, I mean, like I will not use Koikatsu for it, or other things. Sure, I will use the existing characters as reference, but the point is. I don't want to use any rendering engine so we can have the rights to our game fully!
