I thought the same way before. I thought there will be new dialogues that let both Anna and Katarina meeting each other in the Mall, but turns out it doesn't matter which Route you chose Anna to be, you can only get Anna's and Katarina's event individually or at least for this update. Don't know if it will change in the upcoming updates though
