how do i remove the prosthetic arm? i tried pressing buttons and clicking and dragging it but nothing happens.

Thanks for saying something, it looks like there was a bug. I’ve uploaded a patched version of the game; your save files should transfer over without causing problems if you’re using Windows.
Once the actual QTE begins, you have to keep clicking on the button on her arm as it moves around until the timer hits zero. If it's still not working for you, try pressing [enter] or the interact button to start the event; if that doesn't work, let me know and I'll look into it more.
