one thing I would say is that the sound effects for text appearing when someone is speaking are kinda cut-off and don't happen with every dialogue.

So the dialog sfx is programmed to spam until a text has ended. Usually when a dialog is too short or only has one/two words, the sfx is not produced or is cut short. 

This can also be effected by player's choice of text speed. faster text speed will shorten the sfx because the text ends faster
