Uh-oh. I think the save system died.

If you're on Windows you can fix this quite easily:

Make sure the game is closed
Open the Run prompt (Windows Key + R)
Paste this there and run it: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Placeholder Gameworks\Death and Taxes
Remove the contents of this folder
Run the game again

Let me know if this works! ^_^

This has already been fixed for the full version :)

The demo shouldn't even technically have the save system enabled but apparently somehow it might have enabled itself.
