This has no right whatsoever to be this excellent as a work of art. The primary theme of caring for hurt people, be they desperate, neglected, afraid, isolated, whatever it is, caring for hurt people through food (philosophically the sustenance of life), meaning using food to get them to open up to being cared for (which is a primary part of treating trauma of any variety), then using food as the gateway to seeing the world in reverse as in having them make the food to care for others so they understand what was done for them and why, which is a primary component to building trust.

This then weaves into the primary conflict of leadership and use of power and institutional change. The most important moment of this is when the most likable person with that power refers to Mr. Takemura as Mr. Wong, despite little to no narrative importance. Why is that so important? It's worth considering, but I won't ruin the opportunity for some contemplation.

Also I guess there are boobs.
