reading this is eye-opening, although I'm not "afraid" of spiders I don't screw around with 10ft spiders man and the atmosphere was intense for how short the game was, god knows I didn't want to go out from the "Safety" of my control room but either way I had to and the fact that Konstantin says the spiders wont do anything made me feel less safe which was excellent.
The weird sphere honestly made me think of michael crichton's Sphere book (Not the awful film) and because I know the lore of that I was kind of freaked out when I saw it but I didn't have time to process the sphere because of the jumpscare :3 kind of wish it wasn't a jumpscare and was more of a planned sequence where the spider breaks it down before getting you but either way it was effective.
Its nice to see your thoughts on the game and how you came about making it, makes me feel better and more headstrong about the horror game I am developing with a friend, Might have to log down these kind of thoughts to show my thought process as the main "lore maker & asset creator" while my friend is the Developer making the game.
