I think you misread the room. Vanessa is mostly right. The entire plot is moving towards an anti establishment narrative, she was just a bit ahead of the curve being a student activist. I think that if you go into this hoping for a sexist, reactionary, anti-woke story, you're gonna be disappointed. Also I just really don't get how she is annoying, unless its just "I disagree with her politically", in which case the problem is def with you.
