It does make *sense* though. You're just not seeing the bigger picture for lore and plot. Some people want to put their own name in the MC's shoes so that they can experience a slice of life they will never get to have *IN REAL LIFE*, but others like me just want to experience the story for what it is... (and definitely some action throughout the story itself) 😎👍

Yet you’re still not explaining how, you’re not explaining your point, and so mine still stand.
Plus, I already explained how being able to change the MC’s name could not have any impact on the story, lore and plot.
And for those that just want to follow that story without changing the MC’s name, they can still specify one and stay with it and this don’t change anything for them.
You're literally whining about the trivial details, and I gave my opinions about how having a set name for the MC is usually better. So yes, you're allowed to have your opinions on the matter too, but you're getting too worked up over this. I'm not arguing with a dick-for-brains caveman who cannot use proper grammar and spelling to make a statement about something that really didn't need any such clarification to understand, if you're struggling that badly to comprehend it. 🙄
