Hi, I gave it a try and I like the prototype. Still need to play "Outer Wilds" to be able to compare with that inspiration (it's in my bucket list). But the physics and style reminded me of Kerbal Space Programm and that's a good thing ;) (I started developing games after playing some early builds of KSP). Some suggestions:
- I like that I see the magnitude of the relative speed to my target. It would be even more useful if I see the direction of that relative speed (e.g. see if that speed is exactly in the target's direction or if there is a lateral component)
- Add an application quit/exit control (e.g. press Q or Esc and then a button). When we develop in Unity you don't miss the option to quit, but I learned it makes it more user friendly (not having to kill the application). Or perhaps I simply missed that (tried with Q and "Esc").
- Add the tag "Physics" since the physical simulation is very important, so people looking for such a game can find it easily.
I hope these suggestions help you. Keep working on it ;)
By the way, would like to try my prototype "Gjoa"? It's about sailing in the arctic, but also very based on physics and exploration, like your prototype ;)
