I saw your review!

You seemed to really like it. Thanks a lot!

And on a side note, since I saw that you reproach often homebrew games to not have music or sound, please know that it is the most difficult thing to implement with pvsneslib since music has to be in an old format that was not used for 30 years and the daws to make it are really really outdated, plus loading a new music into memory is absurdly long (and from what I know you can only have one loaded at any given time). Finally the compiler of sfx randomly refuses to compile a lot of sounds, including a lot that originate from snes/nes games.

That was longer than expected haha but thanks again for the good review!

:D you were quick

Here the review for the others: https://snes-testberichte.de/k-fet-invaders/

Yes I know that sound stuff is very difficult but I have to compare games fairly with each other and try to stay objective since it's the same rating system for homebrew and old SNES games :)

You did very well and I really hope to see more SNES games made by you. The SNES homebrew community is small and I really cherish every game for the goold ol' console and I know I'm not alone with this.

I'll definitely try a better hi-score, now it's just 44300.

(+1)

Thanks for the compliments again!

Honestly, I don't want to lie to you so I am not sure to make an other game for the snes. It was a very cool experience but it is very time hungry compared to game engines like godot, and there are still a lot of things I don't know how to do (like scrolling lol). It's definetely not out of the question as I feel like the limitations can also help you focus on what's important in your game.

Also 2 quick confessions: 1 my highscore is only 60450 so you almost beat me and 2 I got the core idea of this game on an old browser game I played in middle school (but I replayed it and it is really not as good as I remembered).

I know you will contribute more for the SNES - because it's an actual challenge :) All the other stuff? Everyone does it.

The SNES homebrewers are quite the nice and enthusiastic little community, feel free to ask the guys to help you with scrolling or whatever. I am sure someone will help. They also helped each other a lot during the last SNESDEV Game Jam in 2021. Goldlocke, Svambo and bennysnesdev are very competent and helpful.
