Thanks! I'm glad, despite how dense the writing and content of the game can be, someone was able to enjoy it.

I actually hadn't heard of Slay the Princess until you mentioned it! The concept itself is pretty simple; scenario, choice, scenario, choice, so I can't say any one specific game influenced this. It just seemed the best way to tell my dumb little poems about myself.

Oh gotcha! I did find that understanding some of the poems took some thinking, but the sound and visuals made it really fun. I think the presentation is just unsettling enough to inspire a certain curiosity, which helps me appreciate the challenging language.
