Now that I'm taking a look at the files, could the reason the android file fails to download be because it's titled a.apk instead of just .apk ? I'm not well versed in coding so I wouldn't know
Anything before the dot will be a name anything after is a filetype.
Example: Name.Filetype
So no, it will not affect the apk filetype. If however the filetype was renamed to .aapk your PC will think its a different filetype and since it doesnt know what to do with it your PC would'nt run the file.
