Giants terms of service says you can not require payment for any game mods created for their games. So yes, All of the mod creators putting mods behind a patreon paywall seems to be a breach of tos. The lack of any noticeable action or enforcement from giants sends a different message. I do not even think we can just assume they are not aware of these violations because this is not just one or two small un-popular creators doing it, It is quite a few creators with a large number of good mods to their names. That does not mean these reuploads of those mods are any less wrong. Though would we want giants to start enforcing their tos? We must think about how that might unfold. Would it mean that giants starts sending cease and desist letters and DMCA takedown requests and would those also mean that the creators of those mods can not instead offer those mods for free as they should have in the first place because of the tos violation? One thing is certain, All options do have some negative affect on someone. There is no resolution that harms no one in any way. (I still will download leaked payware mods anyway when they appear as a way of trying them out)

also the fact that Crownzilla sells his mods for 20 dollars isnt helping, half of his mods are exclusive so i just downloaded them for free on a different site. They work fine and im glad some people repost mods that cost money for the community.
