What language? I'm a fulltime C# developer interested in doing game on the side.
C# is usually a lot of boilerplate for a project of this size, but I'm happy to use it as well. Godot has its own language (GDScript) with is very close to python and I had almost 0 problem with learning it over a single weekend a few years back.
