Imho that dev has problems in communicating to her users. Like taking a game page offline without putting up some kind of explanation. I mean, you do not pull such stunts with 9k followers. People gonna think you got deleted. See this evidence thread. But judging from the patreon and twitter, that dev is reclusive in general. I mean, who limits their number of paying patreon followers?!

Oh, and that is an answer that was given only after someone complained. It is not in the patreon post, but in the comments. Yeah, yeah, she linked to tumblr and twitter. Who cares? She has 9k followers on Itch for crying out loud. They do not see her other socials. One needs to announce and communicate such things on the platform you do this. Not on unrelated socials, that only a fraction of the users might also check.
