You might want to apply Occam's razor.

Is it likely that Itch took the money and run? No. We would see more than your complain thread, in such an event.

Is it likely, that there are some unresolved problems that need resolving and automatic payout cannot occur or is delayed? Sure. There are all sorts of problems that can occur with all parties involved.

My favorite guess out of the blue is: you triggered an automatic scam and hack prevention mechanism and by removing your games your issue got pushed back in the support queue.

If you requested your payment and if it is overdue and you made an inquiry to support, there is not much help here in open community. With the exception of the odd case where an admin looks at your ticket. And for that you have to write your support ticket number in the request - which you refused to do in your own thread.

This thread here is about actual scams and malware. Itch does not verify most developers. It is a reminder that not all scams are advertised as a try my game on discord attack. And even reported malware can still be up for weeks occasionally. If I have to chose between you waiting a week longer for your payment and some reported scams being removed a week earlier, I would chose the removal of malware.

For anyone wondering, the issue was expired information, as was answered elsewhere. Itch might do a better/faster job of communicating such issues, but it was not the unlikely case of Itch scamming developers. Occam's razor is a useful tool.
