huh, i wonder if the curse is a bit of a metaphor for a period? not entirely sure, but i feel like there might be some similarities but also not sure if it's just a coincidence.
Considering how lycanthropy and periods already DO usually go hand-in-hand: yes, that IS a very much applicable thought!
On that note, I was also greatly inspired by Pixar's Turning Red, as well as Lampwick's oblivious Donkey TF sequence from 1940's Pinocchio
