saying you need an "unconventional strategy" is too cryptic and if the game has a hint somewhere i don't know where to find it
What strategies have you tried? The hint is in the fight itself. Why does the enemy need to regenerate health if they're invincible?
There's a specific reaction that counters regeneration. Figure that out and you're on the right track. ;)
