Based on this and other feedback, the demo is not putting its best foot forward and doing the rest of the game justice. I will be contemplating how to go forward. Bad hints/lack of hints is certainly a thing, which seems have stumped you. My fault not yours. Things like mouselook are definitely on my radar as far as questioning their worth. It's good to hear the art is "charming" as you put it, IDK if anyone else has used that wording yet and I'm pretty insecure about my talents as an artist.
