OK had the exact same error and solution (one $maya.png file and one %24mayapng file) after selecting to use the knife.
Game was great despite the little hickup. Lovely girls and art.
i talked to some other dev friends, and i believe it might’ve been related to a windows extraction issue, but honestly i’m not completely sure. i’ll keep an eye out! And thank you so sooo much!
