Hello! Just thought I'd tell you that the map pattern(from my knowledge) follows;  a node where you can gain card, a node that neither gives a card nor is a battle(the Mycholegyst and item node is located here), and then a normal or totem battle node, an then repeat till boss. Hope this is useful!

Interesting observation! I didn't even notice that lol, I just figured out the probabilities different nodes pop up by with the pattern of card battle, then 2 non-battle nodes. I don't know if I'll update the generation algorithm because I'm lazy, but thanks for the heads up! :)
