Funny game with an interesting mechanic, but it's super hard!! Don't forget you're the only  "A Small Game About Dashing" expert right now :D That's pretty common in jam games, but maybe you should give more time at the beginning, or slow down things a bit. It's cool to give informations in the beginning but maybe that's written a bit small.

Other than that, really cool idea, I think the game would deserve a bit more polishing to be even better. Congratulations!

Thank you for playing my game and for feedback!

I went with the difficulty thing because I feel like you can master the game up to a point. But it is very difficult and I should probably label that more. Given more time I'll probably add more levels. Having it start easy and get slowly harder.

I also need to fix the UI up a little, but I would consider this my first like, actual solo game.(I should mention that I did brainstorm the idea with another person on the discord, but because of time zone related issues we went solo).

Cheers.

Difficult games are legit and some people like that. But remember that itch contains a lot of games, and jam games are usually not very polished, so people try them but with little patience most of the time. If they get frustrated quickly, they might end up thinking "oh, another of those 80% of unbalanced jam games" and leave. So an easy start is a must, I'm afraid!

Solid game for a 1st solo experience, that's great!

Thank you once again for the advice and feedback! Easy start is a must you're right! But I'm burnt out with this game and ready for the next! Lol.

This was a very fun experience and I learned a lot!
