Good start to the game. The enviroment art looks great!
A couple of things I would like to see would be diagonal movement on the field maps. This would make the controls feel smoother I think. Also I think the battle menu would be a lot better if you added mouse controls to select commands or make the command highlighter a bit bigger/brighter. Currently you can barely see which command is highlighted so it makes the battle system feel like a bit of a chore.
As I mentioned before though it's a great beginnning to the game and I wish you all the best in finishing it!
