meh, I wouldn't even have not read that post about browser games getting WAY too much attention compared to native games and me going "You know, lets try to help mitigate that".

Yeah It is crazy to see the difference between the two. However there are some DL game that scored high so I guess it all comes down to marketing or promoting your project.   It is crazy and disappointing  that the unity builds are not producing usable results for Linux users.

It produces them, it is just that a good amount of people don't know about the "target platform" dropdown that they need to select after selecting "Windows, Linux,Mac" and thus think their one build works on all three, while in actual fact they only made a Windows version.
