Yea. I thought the app was the way to go since I don't know how to play it from just the downloaded zip file.
Oh it's pretty simple. You just unzip the folder and then enter the game folder and double click on the .exe file. The only annoyance is sometimes when the game updates you will have to transfer your saves manually to the newer version.
