I know that this suggestion would be more work, but why not separate the routes as two games? The main 3 routes as a canonical time-lines game, and the other 2 as alternate time-lines game.
Honestly having the entire scribbles route be a different game would be a cool suggestion, the game could start right where you talk to no one and instead of the intro scene, you could get a message to play the base game first
So you suggest that the main MacGuffin of the entire plot and the reason MC ishaving boner powers gets a side character treatment? Plus the game is not years close to complete, maybe we will have to trigger certain scenes in one route to unlock something in the other one, like Shelter did.
I mean, I was mor so saying it like this game would be for the other characters and world building while the Scribbles game could be mainly about him and Cody, just an idea though, not necessarily a full well thought out plan
