Interesting, I will look into this. Does this happen on the Android or Windows version? With crash I assume you mean the game just closes itself right?
I could not re-create the issue. I did bring out a bugfix in v0.11.2 which fixes some problems. It is available on Patreon. You could try the new version and see if this fixes your problems.
