Hey there, please try disabling the Particle Effects in the game options. We're having an issue with the particle effects causing a memory leak, specially with the weather effects like rain or snow.
Yeah this is the latest version, HTopia is free to play. The Patreon tiers are just a way to support our development and it gives you access to the Windows build, wallpapers and in-game rewards.
