If I remember correctly the creator said a couple months ago that they are about half way done with the game so we can probably expect about 8 more update give or take 1-2 depending on the size of future updates
Recently Cari mentioned on the Progress Bar comments section on Patreon that he's targeting 13 updates total, meaning there's about 5 more updates to go after 0.8.
