I really love the minimalist Pixel Art look it looks amazing the Soundtrack is also really fitting. But a few more Objects in the Room could really help the Game become more like a small Strategy Game where you have to balance all your Bars.
You could as an example add a Hygiene Meter and you have to Shower from time to time or brush your teeth etc. Or you could add some random encounters like a friend storming into your room and asking your for money. Or definitely the most interesting idea would be that the Games you develop can also be played after you develop them at the end like some small mini games Pong/Snake etc.
