I agree with the lack of agency, and it has become more apparent to me as Season 2 progresses. As this is my first VN (I've worked only with linear storytelling earlier), I'm kinda learning the ropes on this one. My ambition is to go back and rework bits once the Steam release is done. Introducing more choices and branching is on the top of the list. For Season 3 I'm planning an even more player driven progression, where you have to make more of an effort to bed the ladies. But again, this has to be weighted with writing and visual work. The more advanced programming you have, the more time it takes away from the other stuff.
Episode 10 will also have six different experiences depending upon one choice made in ep9 and one branching in the beginning of 10. But branching is a lot of work, so the scenes will have similar content with some variations, and the second to last scene will be diferent depending upon the choice of path.
Re stats: I've fine tuned the threshold levels of each season so that some choices need certain levels to kick in. If you carry from S1, it will become a bit too hard for my reach. I'm first and foremost a writer, and not much of a programmer, unfortunately.
