You should be able to get 3 in your room, 15 in basement when you level up Mia to level 3 and gain access to the mansion’s basement

hopped on to check I have mia at level 3 and the basement unlocked but i still cannot put more than 1 machine in the original room
Probably a bug if you are using an old save file, I will check it out
maybe, but I would like to verify that I made sure to delete old saves and start fresh
