Positives:
- Lighting is very good
- I like the general combat
- I like the level design
- It looks good in a top down view
- Love you did this in godot polished for a demo
- This has a lot of potential!!!
Ideas??
- more complex enemy's like rebels who can flank, throw grenades etc!
- More physics puzzles!
- Combine squad AI later in the game would be really cool - they follow you kill enemy's etc
Negatives:
- Melee attack felt bad - you have to aim right on enemy's which is very hard to do when getting swarmed, maybe it should work off a cone in front of you?
- Its hard to see enemy's telegraphing attacks, in HL2 it worked better but you may need to slow them down or add different animations.
- No physics? ik this is a more combat game but i think it would be cool if you could shoot boxes and they could move around or zombies could throw barrels etc
- Grenades are hard to aim and slow so i only ever got like 1 kill, could be a skill issue!
- Puzzles are def WIP but my main complaint is there is not much feedback - i was fighting zombies forever in the finale before i realized the elevator was open.
