Hey, if the free version worked, then I don't see a reason why the paid one wouldn't. Maybe it's something with your phone security blocking links? Anyway, if you want a refund, you have to contact itch support and explain the situation to them: https://itch.io/support

I had an older version that I found on a different site. V36 or something like that. The free version didn't work for my phone either it's an lgk92. It would start the download then I when I hit install it would say app not installed. I thought it was a space problem so I deleted a bunch of stuff.

Then it's not a download problem, but your phone doesn't support 32 bit games. You will have to wait for the remastered version of the game which will be in 64 bit and will work with newer phones.

When's the projected release date of that and since I've already paid will I be able to download that one once released?

It will be a separate game, so contact itch support for a refund. It will be out some time in 2025.
